Abattoir

Abattoir is an Action Sports company founded in 2010. The word Abattoir is French for "Slaughterhouse" When i began branding this company i knew that i wanted to somehow tie together the meaning of the word in a subtle way into the Logo which i did by creating a hatchet in the empty space of the lowercase A and having the red color on the bottom left of the A represent blood. Altogether the final Logo design was a huge hit with the client.

FOX Racing – MTB

  Back in 2006 I was approached by Fox Racing to come up with some new concepts for there Mountain Bike division. Being a Mountain Biker myself, I was able to think of what would make these stand out. Some ideas i had were rethinking the pockets and a way to reduce the pull on the waistband while riding. When your on a bike and you need to get into your pocket it is usually when you have one foot on the ground and one up on your pedal. Here I thought if you could change the angle of the pocket it would make for easier access while your foot is on the pedal. For the waistband it was adding a stretchable fabric panel under the waistband in the back. What do you know both were a hit! I created everything on these products.
